break my heart for what breaks yours.

Some people were sent to change your life. Together you were sent to change the world.

I believe that this world goes around because we all interact, and keep each other moving. I think that our point on earth is to make it better, to leave it, someone, some place, or something, better than it was when we found it. If we go through life without at least trying to make a difference, then what was the point?

We can’t all be Mother Teresa, but how can we try?

Laura just got back from Nicaragua, where I believe her heart truly lives. At least that’s where it truly thrives. The reason her heart thrives there, is because when Laura is in Nicaragua, there’s nothing to do besides make a difference. Theres nothing to do but help people. Whether it’s building a safety wall, bringing shoe’s for their bare-feet, or feeding hungry little ones, there’s no way to go there and not spark a fire. You can’t go there and be useless, because the truth is, being around those kids, someone new visiting, is a light in it’s own.

What are you doing to change the world? What are you doing to make someone else’s day better? Is it as simple as holding a door open for someone? Is it enough to go to Nicaragua and love on kids? Does the world need more from us than money? Will an actively kind heart do the trick?

What are your thoughts? How will you change the world?
